DC "Visual DotNetNuke" Hackathon: ProjectsMinimize

For the "Visual DotNetNuke" Hackathon, you must create a DotNetNuke Module that matches one of the below specifications:

Silverlight Sizzle

Build a DotNetNuke module in which the entire user interface is implemented using Silverlight. Your module must gather some data from the user, persist it to the DotNetNuke database and display it back to the user while doing something meaningful with the data. For this Hackathon, you will need to do much better than just demonstrate Silverlight usage in DotNetNuke. Your module's user interface must be completely dependent on Silverlight. Remember, other Hackathon participants are going to be voting for your module. If you want their vote, you'll want to be as creative as possible and develop a module that does something useful and has UI "sizzle". Amaze us with your Silverlight wizardry. Show us how you can build a DotNetNuke module with a contemporary, intuitive and responsive user interface with Silverlight. Go beyond if you wish -- interact with third-party webservices, mash things up -- turn up the heat!!!

jQuery Jazz

Build a DotNetNuke module in which the user interface is implemented with jQuery plugins. Your module must gather some data from the user, persist it to the DotNetNuke database and display it back to the user while doing something meaningful with the data. Your module's user interface must have evident visual aspects built using jQuery plugins. Remember, other Hackathon participants are going to be voting for your module. If you want their vote, you'll want to be as creative as possible and develop a module that does something useful and is jazzed up with jQuery plugins. Surprise us...build a jaw-dropping, jQuery-driven user interface. Show us how you can build a DotNetNuke module with a contemporary, intuitive and responsive user interface with jQuery plugins. Go beyond if you wish -- interact with third-party webservices, mash things up -- jazz it up!!!

Telerik Thrill

Build a DotNetNuke module in which the user interface is implemented with the Telerik component wrappers included with DotNetNuke. Your module must gather some data from the user, persist it to the DotNetNuke database and display it back to the user while doing something meaningful with the data. Your module's user interface must have evident visual aspects built using the Telerik wrapper components. Remember, other Hackathon participants are going to be voting for your module.
