Chris Chubb: LocalScene

What bands are playing where and when and will I like them? LocalScene is a module that allows the user to search for live music being performed in their local area in the near future. Events are mapped into a Google map using the venue's address. Popup information about each event lists the performer(s), performance date/time, location information for the venue, links to the performers profile on LastFM, a short list of the 5 most popular tracks by the performer (with pictures and links to the LastFM player for that song) plus the ability to save performances into the users local list. This module was developed from scratch with no programming written before 5/5/2010.
